How it works


ASSEMBLY & OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

FOR USE WITH NEWSPAPER

  1. Unfold or assemble your SwannieBraai.
  2. Line the bottom with a layer of TIN FOIL to catch the ashes (optional).
  3. Make about 8 - 10 tight balls from any newspaper and put the paper balls inside the assembled SwannieBraai. More newspaper balls can be added at any time during the grilling process.
  4. Light the newspaper balls in 2 or 3 places from above.
  5. Put your BOEREWORS, SAUSAGE or MEAT inside the FOLDING GRID and on top of the fire and turn it often (approximately every 20 -30 seconds) until the meat is grilled to your personal taste.
  6. After grilling let the SwannieBraai cool off, dump remains in a waste bin, disassemble and pack away.

FOR USE WITH WOOD, CHARCOAL or OTHER

  1. Unfold or assemble your SwannieBraai.
  2. Line the bottom with a layer of TIN FOIL to catch the ashes (optional).
  3. Put 3 pieces of FIRELIGHTER spaced in the bottom pan and LIGHT it.
  4. Put charcoal grid inside the SwannieBraai on bottom pan.
  5. Put WOOD, CHARCOAL BRIQUETTES or OTHER on top of CHARCOAL GRID
  6. Once the coals are white, it is ready for GRILLING.
  7. Put your BOEREWORS, SAUSAGE or MEAT inside the FOLDING GRID and on top of the SwannieBraai and turn it often until the meat is grilled to your personal taste.
  8. After grilling let the SwannieBraai cool off, dump remains in a waste bin, disassemble and pack away.

SPECIAL NOTE

Although it is important to follow the above instructions, the SwannieBraai is a NO-nonsense, simple-to use and a NO-fuss BBQ and you can use it any which way you prefer. Experiment with it as much as you like and REMEMBER: Keep it handy, you never know when you will need it!!
